The week were everybody was rehearshing for the Spring Concert

Hey, this week I was the only one in the lesson representing the group and I was thinking of the finance involved baking cakes and selling thsem. I wanted to try spending a little amount of money on the cake ingredients and then selling the cake at a higher price to make a good profit. I researched the i ingredients needed are and average cost : 50g self raising flour (35p Mr Dougalls) 50g caster sugar (7.2p Silver spoon caster) 50g butter (25p Anchor) 1 egg (25p Big and Fresh) So with this we can try and make delicious cupcakes using a minimum price to raise a large profit :) Also a couple of weeks ago we did the task with the 9 dots and we had to link them together using 1 line and also trying the keep the balloon floating in the air without using our arms or legs, here are the videos filmed by Mr Wood:

And i'll try and upload the photos later becuase it's the end of the lesson :P , By Marina

Uplifting moment.

Hi!! I'm not really hear to talk about what we did in the lessons or anything important in particular, however after hearing the scary news of having to come up with a final idea our group seemed to all fall into a great heap of panic and negative thinking...

"WE CAN'T DO THIS!"
"WE WILL NEVER FIND A GOOD IDEA!!"
"EVERYONE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN US!"
"MR WOOD WILL BE SO LET DOWN!!"

Things weren't looking up for the coolest group in the world so I decided to find us a positive thinking poem to get the spirit back up!

"Little bird in the sky
Droping 'poop' into ur eye
You don’t worry u don’t cry,
You just thank God that,Cows do not fly!!
Always be positive."
What I was trying to say by this was that we will find a way to be the best and yes we will have the greatest product ever!!
Thanks for Ema :)

Few fishes in our Thinktank :)

wow its already week 5...or 6 ????

Last lesson in a nutshell wasn't that good , well its hard to top spuddy buddy , but we did come up with some quite inspiring ideas for our trade fair projects.
we have been tossing around some ideas for a few week now but nothing was decided ; we had thought about flip flop, headbands and accessories, t-shirts, phone cases and a couple of others. suddenly last lesson Mr. Wood dropped on us that he wants our final idea and can we tell him so he make sure no one copies us. We were PANICKED!!!
we spoke about our ideas using the speaking stick, cheesy but it surprisingly works, we then came up with the idea of making good quality crop-tops. you may be thinking that they get done every year but ours would be different, they would be well made and high quality which would make ours stand out from the rest. We thought of the rough idea for the name Cropshop copied from topshop obviously and we would make cheaper alternatives to the expensive brand.

if there is anyone reading then pleeeaaasssseeeee comment and follow us to tell us what you think about the tops, we want your suggestions and opinions.

we will keep you updated on all the things we are doing in class and out of class
